A bishop in Philippines’ Mindoro island on Maundy Thursday, April 17, washed the feet of 12 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-Calapan City District Jail in Oriental Mindoro province.
“Through its Care for Creation framework, Caritas Singapore will help the community systematically incorporate Laudato Si's principles into their daily lives," said Cardinal Goh.
“In the sacrament, God invites the couple to make an act of faith, not just in each other, but in the God who calls them to build a family” said bishop David.
The Day of Buddha commemorates the birth, enlightenment (nirvana, likened to an experience of heaven), and death of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
