Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee
Pope Francis has declared 2025 as a Holy Year of Jubilee for the Catholic Church, an event observed every 25 years.
The theme of the Jubilee Year 2025 is "Pilgrims of Hope." Pope Francis invites us to renew our hope and care for the earth, embracing our role as pilgrims rather than masters of creation. As Pilgrims of Hope, we are called to journey together, strengthening our relationship with God, one another, and the earth.

Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,

The Jubilee Logo
The Jubilee logo features four stylized figures representing all of humanity, coming from all four corners of the earth. Embracing each other, they symbolize the solidarity and fraternity that should unite all people. The lead figure holds onto the cross, a sign of faith and hope that must never be abandoned, especially during moments of great need.
Beneath the figures are rough waves, representing the challenges and uncertainties of life’s pilgrimage, which often demand a strong call to hope. The elongated lower part of the cross is shaped like an anchor, symbolizing hope. In maritime terms, the "anchor of hope" refers to a reserve anchor used during emergencies to stabilize ships in storms.
The logo portrays the pilgrim’s journey as a communal effort, marked by dynamic movement toward the cross. The cross itself is not static but bends toward humanity, offering assurance of its presence and the security of hope. At the bottom, the motto of the 2025 Jubilee Year, Peregrinantes in Spem (Pilgrims in Hope), is displayed in green letters.
