Nazareth Sisters' center to provide psycho-spiritual guidance to people in Philippines
The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth (CSFN) in the Philippines have started a new center to provide psycho-spiritual guidance to people amid the pandemic.
Father Rock C. Berdos, Parish Priest of San Andres Apostol Parish, Cainta, Rizal, Diocese of Antipolo on March 29, 2022, blessed the Nazareth Psycho-Social Wellness Center.
Sister Angelina M. Julom, CSFN, Ph.D., RPsy., RPm, Clinical Psychologist together with Sister Venus Armachuelo, CSFN, RN are assigned to manage the center.
“This center is an enhancement of the Philippine CSFN's ministry, in responding to the psycho-spiritual needs of individuals and families, especially during this time of the pandemic, and other challenges brought about by different calamities,” Sister Julom told RVA News.
It is a licensed Center from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Municipal Business permit, and registered in the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), a government agency, she added.
The congregation thanked Father Berdos and the friends of Nazareth who were generous enough to be present and shared their graces with Sisters.
The Provincial administration headed by Sister Greta Marie Gallo, CSFN, and some Sisters were also present to witness this special event in the mission in the Philippines.
“May this center through the services of our Sisters continue to help and serve the people of God. Let the Mother Foundress Blessed Frances Siedliska continue to inspire the Sisters to strengthen this ministry in building the Kingdom of God,” said Sister Gallo.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.” Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
