Reflection Date: March 8, 2023
Our faith and desire to love must be more powerful than the noises and temptations of today’s fast-paced world that constantly pull us away from God.
The bottom-line is that every mystery is to be encountered at a profoundly personal level, it has to be experienced at depth, at the inner recesses of one’s being, not simply told.
Reflect, today, upon these words Jesus spoke to Mary: “Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.” But do so with the knowledge that, now, Jesus has indeed ascended to the Father.
Reflect, today, upon your own clinging to Jesus. He is now fully resurrected and ascended and we can experience the full fruits of the Resurrection as a result. We, with Mary, can now hold on to Him in our souls because He is primarily the one holding on to us.
Reflect, today, upon the awesome event of the Resurrection and spend time this week in this humble adoration. Try to literally bow down to the ground in homage before the Resurrected Christ. Try to do this literally.
