"Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."

Daily Readings: James 5:13-20; Mark 10:13-16
If someone is suffering, let him pray, as the prayer will help the sick person recover, and if he is anointed with oil, his many sins will be forgiven. He gives an example of the Prophet Elijah, who through his prayers could cause famine and bring rain; such was his power. Jesus says, "Let the children come to him, for to them belongs the kingdom of God." "Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."
We need to confess our sins and believe in God to answer our prayers. It is like we are praying to God for healing, and for that to happen, we need to believe that God has answered our prayers.
Why does Jesus say that to these, the Kingdom of God belongs? By nature, children are unassuming. They acknowledge their dependence. By nature, they are simple to the point of surrender. The disciples rebuked them because children were insignificant and that Jesus had other things to engage with rather than lay his hands on them.
The parents recognized that the blessings from Jesus would significantly affect their growth as they recognized him as God's sent and therefore took their children to be blessed by him.
We need to alter our perceptions of what is possible, rather than accepting that some activities are little to us but are critical to others. What is my stance on such issues?
Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.” Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
