Bishop José Colin Mendoza Bagaforo

Bishop Jose Colin Mendoza Bagaforo, born on January 30, 1954, in Cotabato City, was ordained a priest on March 25, 1980.

Appointed as Auxiliary Bishop of Cotabato on February 2, 2006, by Pope Benedict XVI, he was ordained at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cotabato City on April 25, 2006.

Bishop Bagaforo currently serves as the President of Notre Dame of Tacurong College in Tacurong City and as Vice President of the Notre Dame Educational Association (NDEA).

Additionally, he holds positions as the Executive Director of the housing program of Cotabato-based Notre Dame Foundation for Charitable Activities, Inc., and as the Director of Bahay Maria Home for the Elderly and Sick.

Furthermore, he chairs various boards including the Archdiocesan Pastoral Board, Financial Board, Personnel Board, and Seminary Board.

On July 25, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him as the Bishop of the Kidapawan Diocese.
