For Jakarta, it is his hand raised in blessing, standing in front of a golden "Garuda," a sacred eagle, which has been depicted in a manner reminiscent of traditional Indonesian “batik” fabric.
Inlaid is a map of Indonesia, an archipelago characterized by a great variety of ethnic and social groups, languages, cultures, and religious beliefs.
For Papua New Guinea, the motto “Pray”, it is a cross, depicted in colors meant to evoke the country’s sunrises and sunsets. On the cross is a Bird of Paradise.
For Timor Leste, in the centre of the logo is his hand raised in blessing. Behind him is the globe, from which the country’s map emerges. The arc reads, "May your faith be your culture."
It is a stylized cross for Singapore, inspired by the star that guided the Magi, the Eucharist, and the five stars of the Singapore flag. On either side is “Unity—Hope.”
Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ.
