Pope Francis highlighted the devastating impact of war on innocent lives, particularly children and families, as he reflected on the ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon during his address to people in St. Peter’s Square, on October 30, 2024.
At Paul VI Hall, there were strong appeals for peace and the people suffering from war. “Reference was made to how Christians can be a sign of peace and reconciliation in a world disfigured by wars and violence," said Dr. Ruffini.
