The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) and the Pontifical Mission Societies of India organized a symposium marking 25 years after the publication of the post-synodal apostolic exhortation “Ecclesia in Asia” (Church in Asia).
“Jesus is sent to be given by the Father to others… He is not sent just to wander around and enjoy Himself. He is sent to be given. The missioner is a gift,” said Cardinal Luis A. Tagle.
"There should not be any room for disharmony or rivalry; the only aim of each church is to give testimony to the life of Christ by being faithful disciples of the Master," said cardinal Tagle.
Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Pro-Prefect for the Section of Evangelization of the Dicastery for Evangelization, said that everyone should emulate how God never walks with arrogance or pride.
Cardinal Tagle, the Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, encouraged the bishops to tell the story of love in order to promote communion and participation in the Church and the society.
