The Catholic Church and other religious communities observed the National Interfaith Day Against Trafficking in Persons on August 20, 2024, with the theme "Moral Education Through Religions to Prevent Trafficking in Persons in the Digital Era."

Caritas members and partners in Southeast Asia attended a workshop in Phnom Penh organized by Caritas Australia. The workshop focused on the "South-East Asia Regional Climate Change Response Framework."

Neak Leung Parish, the oldest in Kampong Cham Prefecture, celebrates its 160th anniversary.

Theresa Khem Sokha professed her first vows in sister of Lovers of the Cross.

Mr. San Saroeun encouraged the young people to serve others and the parish in their area, continue to live by the testimony of faith in the workplace and live by sharing good deeds with others, especially those who are abandoned by society.

The Bishop of Phnom Penh pointed out three important things to be an active Catholic in daily life and must sculpt in life: pray, love, and serve.

Sophal Phon, a director of St. Paul Institute, said, "the most important purpose of this seminar is to want students and participants to create small projects in researching according to their institutions at the end of the workshop."

Msgr. SUON said, "Let our church be a light of the grace of God to those around us, that they may know Christ, and be saved from him."

"Let us be servants to be homeowners, to love our home, to take care of our home and the community we receive," said Bishop Schmitthaeusler.
