The Catholic Church and other religious communities observed the National Interfaith Day Against Trafficking in Persons on August 20, 2024, with the theme "Moral Education Through Religions to Prevent Trafficking in Persons in the Digital Era."
Caritas members and partners in Southeast Asia attended a workshop in Phnom Penh organized by Caritas Australia. The workshop focused on the "South-East Asia Regional Climate Change Response Framework."
Mr. San Saroeun encouraged the young people to serve others and the parish in their area, continue to live by the testimony of faith in the workplace and live by sharing good deeds with others, especially those who are abandoned by society.
Sophal Phon, a director of St. Paul Institute, said, "the most important purpose of this seminar is to want students and participants to create small projects in researching according to their institutions at the end of the workshop."
