Indian Salesian Sister Wins Golden Book Award 2025

"Dream Big, Dream True—35 Tips to Make the Best of Your Life," a motivational book by Sr. Teresa Joseph, FMA, has won the prestigious Golden Book Award 2025 in personal and interpersonal growth.
First published in 2004, the book has had a profound impact on thousands of readers over the past 20 years.
On January 31, 2025, Sr. Teresa received an email from Wings Publication International, announcing her book’s victory.
The message praised her exceptional storytelling and the powerful impact her words have had on readers, and for Sr. Teresa, the award felt like a divine blessing.
She expressed, “I consider this award a surprise visit from God, a sign of His unconditional love for me.”
Now in its 10th edition, "Dream Big, Dream True" has sold over 25,000 copies and has been translated into several languages, including English, Marathi, Hindi, and Khasi.
We have also published a Braille edition to ensure its message reaches those with visual impairments.
Through 35 uplifting tips, the book focuses on themes of self-confidence, optimism, forgiveness, and personal growth, helping countless individuals find their path in life.
Sr. Teresa's observation of young people struggling to find direction served as inspiration for the book.
Reflecting on her time at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, she recalled the academic pressure to publish but recognized that the struggles of youth were what truly motivated her to share these life-changing insights.
“When young people read the book and see the tips on how to get what they expect, their faces light up, and they feel empowered,” she says.
The recognition of "Dream Big, Dream True" comes at a fitting time—the Jubilee Year of Hope—and for Sr. Teresa, hope is a theme that resonates deeply in her journey.
As she gently reminds others, “Everything happens in its time, and when the time is right, even the smallest seed of hope will bloom into something extraordinary.”
Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.” Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
