Pope Francis appoints new Nuncio to Bangladesh

Monsignor Kevin Randall, Nuntio to Bangladesh

Pope Francis appointed an American, Monsignor Kevin Randall, as the new Apostolic Nuncio to Bangladesh, making him an archbishop, on August 13, 2023. 

Monsignor Kevin Randall was born in New London, Connecticut, USA, on May 6, 1966. He was ordained a priest on July 25, 1992, for the Diocese of Norwich.

Monsignor Randall has a doctorate in Canon Law. He entered the Diplomatic Service of the Holy See on July 1, 2001, serving subsequently in the Apostolic Nunciatures in Rwanda, Serbia, Slovenia, Peru, South Africa, and Mexico.

Prior to his appointment as Apostolic Nuncio to Bangladesh, he was a counselor at the Apostolic Nunciature in Austria. He will be raised to the dignity of the archbishop in due course.

In addition to his native English language, Monsignor Kevin Randall speaks French, Italian, Spanish, and German.- RVA Bengali service
