The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Board of Trustees, through the Membership and Awards Committee, has decided to confer the 2024 CEAP "Pro Deo et Patria" Award on Jesuit Father Joel E. Tabora.

"The Pro Deo et Patria Award" is the highest award the association gives to deserving individuals who manifest an exemplary attitude of love for God and country, as well as their faithfulness to Catholic teachings as part of their service to God.

The recipient must serve as an example of Christ the Teacher.

The 2024 CEAP National Convention will present the award at the SMX Lanang in Davao City, Philippines, on November 12–15, 2024.

The award consists of an icon of Christ the Teacher, a bronze plaque, and a cash prize.

Established in 1941, the CEAP serves as the principal organization that represents Catholic educational institutions in the Philippines at the national level.

At present, the organization has a membership of over 1,525 schools and includes over 120 Catholic school superintendents.

The organization is a voluntary entity, operating through regional educational associations located in each of the country's 17 regions.

Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.”  Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
