Catholic youth wins Miss Indonesia 2022 crown
A Catholic youth from North Sulawesi won the Miss Indonesia 2022 beauty pageant crown.
Audrey Vanessa Susilo, a 22-year-old Catholic youth (OMK) from the diocese of Manado, North Sulawesi, won the Miss Indonesia 2022 crown, eliminating 36 other contestants from different provinces in the country.
The Miss Indonesia 2022 beauty pageant was held in Jakarta on September 15.
She is active in various services, especially in the Holy Trinity Community (KTM) and also the Catholic Charismatic Prayer Fellowship (PDKK).
Audrey represents the province of North Sulawesi in the Miss Indonesia 2022 beauty pageant, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
Her faith and hard work were not in vain. She finally became the winner of Miss Indonesia 2022.
Audrey proved that Indonesian Catholic youth, although a minority group, can compete in quality and offer the best for the church and the country.
Audrey was even inspired by Saint Mother Teresa's words in answering the final question of this beauty pageant. This quote is also the motto of her life.

She also has a series of stunning achievements, one of which has been named the 1st Winner of Miss Manado, North Sulawesi 2022.

She received a full "Monash International Leadership Scholarship" from Monash University, Australia.
Audrey's parents are also active in the church's service as parishioners of St. Theresia Malalayang, Manado, North Sulawesi.
His father was a KTM district leader for Sulawesi, Mollusca, and Papua Indonesia.
As Miss Indonesia 2022, Audrey will represent the country in the Miss World 2023 pageant.
