A senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader in Goa, western India, has stirred controversy by demanding a DNA test on the remains of St. Francis Xavier, a 16th-century Catholic saint.
Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao, Archbishop of Goa and Damão invited pilgrimages and spiritual preparations for the Exposition of St. Francis Xavier's Relics, which will take place from November 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
