An official from the World Apostolic Congress on Mercy (WACOM) urged attendees at the 5th Asian Apostolic Congress on Mercy to continue being vessels of the Lord's compassion and mercy towards others.
Eight months before the Philippine midterm elections in May, a Filipino bishop encouraged the voters to elect true statesmen and not politicians who turn public office into drama and entertainment.
Bishop Ruperto Santos said, "We can show that we are God’s true children when we care for His creation, “and in doing so, we give back in a way that honours God.”
