The late Jaime Cardinal Sin was appointed coadjutor Archbishop of Jaro in 1972, the same year Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., father and namesake of the sitting president, put the entire Philippines under martial rule. He became full Archbishop of Jaro the following year.
Bishop Teodoro Buhain Jr., the Former Radion Veritas Asia General Manager and retired auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Manila, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 87.
The winners will be announced at the 17th Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards Ceremonies on September 15, 2023, at 2:30 PM at the Manila International Book Fair, Stage Area, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
