On this solemn Good Friday, commemorating the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church in Cambodia has extended a gesture of solidarity by sending a donation to Cardinal Charles Bo, Archbishop of Yangon, Myanmar on April 18.
Bishop Matthew Kukah told Bola Tinubu, the recently elected president of Nigeria, that "neither God nor history will forgive you if you fail" and that "you have no excuses before God or the people of Nigeria."
“We also pray that the investigation of Ukon's miracles will be completed, approved, and canonized at least within the next year or two,” said Archbishop Thomas Aquinas Manyo Cardinal Maeda.
“This is my wish for you: to be attentive, in your homes and families, to the little things of everyday life, to small gestures of gratitude," said pope Francis.
Fr. Pereira said, "His contribution—comprising two-thirds of the hymns—transforms this book into a treasury echoing the teachings of the Bible and Church Documents. It serves as a guide for spiritual growth and Christian virtues."
