Pope Francis has declared Taytay church in the Diocese of Antipolo in the province of Rizal as a minor basilica, making it one of the only 23 churches on that status in the Philippines.
The Antipolo Cathedral on Friday, January 28, will be declared an international shrine, a sacred place, which will be attended by more than 80 bishops from across the country, according to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference Philippines.
“This started our life on the farm. It was not easy. We had no constitution to follow—only a common vision, not even a mission to talk about. Just to live the vows and farm," Sis. Emma M. Alday.
Pope noted that being a journalist is a vocation, something like that of a doctor, “who chooses to love humanity by caring for its illnesses” because they “choose to personally touch the wounds of society and the world”.
“We place our trust in God’s miraculous love for peace, diplomatic settlements, and to soften the hearts of those who hold the oil tanker,” said Bishop Ruperto Santos of Antipolo
“The DOE reportedly cleared 175 power generation projects to conduct system impact studies (SIS) in 2023, the biggest of which is Vind Energy Corporation’s 3,038-megawatt (MW) NOM FL1 offshore wind farm in Batangas and Occidental Mindoro,” said Protect VIP in a statement.
“We thank the Holy Father Pope Francis for this honour bestowed upon them in recognition of their outstanding services to the Church, especially in charity and social service,” Cardinal Advincula said.
