When things in life are not going our way, do not immediately grumble to God and question His decisions. There is a good reason for what you are going through. Always choose the silence of prayer and let the Lord reveal His plans to you.

God is completely and eternally good. Evil does not come from Him. When He created the world, He deemed it to be good. However, it is not yet complete, and the many tribulations we experience on earth are God’s way of bringing it to perfection.

We may be becoming impatient with God for not answering our intentions or being too demanding to get what we want. He is not a magician who grants prayers on a whim. He is not a genie who answers to us.

The more the apostles let go of their dependency on material things, the deeper the grace they receive through their Master, who imparted to them His miraculous powers.
