Compassionate heart of Jesus

Daily Readings: 1 Kings 3: 4-13, Mark 6: 30-34
Everybody wants to be loved! Love is a fundamental characteristic of the human heart. We cannot exist apart from love, as we were created from God's love. However, is our love self-serving? Are our compassion and love selfless?
Without some interest, we frequently fail to love one another. However, Jesus' love is unassailable. He has boundless compassion for all. He adores humans and empathizes with our problems. He can read our minds and hearts. When Jesus saw the crowd, he recognized them as a flock without a shepherd.
As an authentic and good shepherd, Jesus cannot help but be affected by the condition of those who love and follow him. Unlike us, God loves us unconditionally, and his loving kindness is boundless.
The Holy Cross is the most visible manifestation of God's steadfast love. He seeks nothing more than our hearts and willingness to follow him obstinately. We can be confident that he will fulfill our good desires according to his plan if we do so. In this case, we must exercise patience and tenacity. In reality, Jesus never disregards our petitions and pleas; he walks alongside us daily.
Immanuel, or God with us, is his name. Regardless of how we feel about ourselves, he still holds us in high regard. Thus, his presence with us reminds us not to lose hope but to cling to him with firm faith and love to love him.
Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a media platform of the Catholic Church, aims to share Christ. RVA started in 1969 as a continental Catholic radio station to serve Asian countries in their respective local language, thus earning the tag “the Voice of Asian Christianity.” Responding to the emerging context, RVA embraced media platforms to connect with the global Asian audience via its 21 language websites and various social media platforms.
