Philippines: Liturgy Conference to deliberate on Sacrament of Marriage
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) - Episcopal Commission on Liturgy will organize the virtual ‘Liturgy Conference 2022’ from April 26 to 29, 2022.
The theme is “The Celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage” from 7:00 in the evening to 9:00 in the evening (GMT +8, Philippine time) on Zoom, Youtube, and Facebook.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission - Manila, San Beda University - Graduate School of Liturgy, and St Paul VI Institute of Liturgy.
It is meant for all liturgy directors, worship coordinators and animators, liturgical ministers, students of theology and liturgy, wedding coordinators and suppliers, married couples, and those preparing for their weddings and their life together.
This series of talks will focus on the different aspects of the celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage to give a deeper understanding of the things that are done in the ritual celebration in the hope that this leads to a better celebration and living out of the sacrament among couples and all those involved in the celebration of marriage and married life, said a press note.
The registration period is still open and will end on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Register at https://bit.ly/liturgyconference2022registration so you can receive your conference kit and the chance to earn a certificate of attendance.
It is open to all, even to those outside the Philippines. The schedule was chosen to allow people who have work during the day to attend.
