Brother Placid Rebeiro, CSC, the principal of the school and college, stated that

Holy Cross School has created a new history in the heart of the Rajshahi city. The new school began its journey with 106 students in Rajshahi city.

"Holy Cross students need to be smart. The smartness will be manifested in politeness," Brother Rebeiro said, who belongs to the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Bishop Rozario congratulated Provincial Brother Subal L. Rozario and brothers who worked for the completion of the school project.

The prelate encouraged the religious brothers to build a decent educational institution and integrate with people in this educational city.

Mrs. Joya Maria Pereira, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ITC), Rajshahi Division, said, "The word 'Holy Cross' is alive in my mind. Because I was a student of Holy Cross myself. The Holy Cross school will not only teach reading but also rules and regulations and everything you need to be an ideal person."

"She urged parents to be aware of the importance of schooling as well as to take care of their children in the family. This means that the parents will take care of the diary that is written from the school and will help the children to follow the class," Mrs. Pereira said

Sukleash George Costa, Regional Director of Caritas in Rajshahi, said, "The school is new, the students are new, the teachers are also new, and those in the school management committee are also new and altogether we start the new journey."

Sukleash Costa said, "Four pillars are needed to set up an educational institution. The first of the four pillars are the students, the second is the parents, the third is the teachers and the fourth is the school management committee. If one is lacking or damaged, our whole education system will be lost."

"In this event, we have four classes of people present here. Therefore, I sincerely wish the cooperation of all to move the Holy Cross School and College forward smoothly through the cooperation of these four classes of people," said Costa.

We ask that your children be human, that they be honest, that they be fair, that they be diligent, that they do good to themselves, so that they do good to the country, that they do good to others, and that they serve others."

A class seven student shared her feelings: Today, I am extremely happy and proud. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to study in this school.
