Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw of Lahore, Pakistan, has reiterated the crucial role of education in society's development.

On July 19, 2024, the Archbishop laid the foundation for St. Mary's Boys High School in Phool Nagar, Kasur, under Bhai Phero Parish. This new institution aims to enhance the development of the area and its people.

In his homily, Archbishop Shaw emphasized the importance of education in the modern age of skills and technology.

He acknowledged God's blessing in continuing the mission of Father Leo Paul, the school's founder, and highlighted the pressing need for quality educational institutions for boys.

"A new high school will serve future generations," he said, underscoring the long-term benefits of the institution.

He encouraged the Catholic community to remain steadfast in their pursuit of noble works, despite numerous challenges, and to embody values of compassion, understanding, and fraternity.

The establishment of St. Mary's Boys High School reflects the community's dedication to education and the development of future generations.

As the school takes shape, it will undoubtedly provide a nurturing environment for young minds to grow and flourish, contributing to the sustainable development of society.
