The day began with a solemn prayer dance, setting a reflective tone and invoking blessings for the event. Sr. Molly Fernandes, the Directress of the Holy Family Communication Centre, delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing the integration of digital innovation into daily practices for a sustainable future.

Drawing a biblical reference, she cited God’s command to Adam and Eve to "till and care for the Earth," urging the audience to adopt digital solutions for environmental stewardship.

“Let us celebrate the power of innovation and its potential to drive positive change,” Fernandes remarked, further inspiring the attendees to commit to leveraging digital advancements to address pressing environmental and societal challenges.

She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students, staff, and dignitaries for their enthusiastic participation and support.

A symbolic floral-potted welcome was extended to the dignitaries, underscoring the event's focus on growth and sustainability.

The highlight of the day was an address by Mr. Guarang S. Patkar, the Chief Guest, who commended the initiative for its relevance and impact.

“It is an honour and privilege to be here at HOFCOM's Annual Day celebrations,” said Mr. Patkar. “This event brings together bright young minds committed to innovation, technology, and environmental consciousness. Such platforms are vital in shaping a resilient and sustainable future.”
