Faithful gather for nightly rosary as Pope Francis recovers

The nightly Rosary for Pope Francis’ health will resume in St. Peter’s Square on March 14, Friday evening, following the conclusion of the annual Lenten Spiritual Exercises for the Roman Curia.
The Marian prayer will take place at 7:30 PM and is open to all who wish to participate.
Laypeople, priests, and religious have been gathering each evening to pray for the Holy Father’s recovery from double pneumonia at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital.
The Rosary is also available via live streaming on Vatican News channels, allowing people worldwide to join in prayer.
Previously held at 9:00 PM, the Rosary was temporarily moved to Paul VI Hall during the Roman Curia’s Spiritual Exercises.
On March 6, Pope Francis broadcast an audio message from the hospital in the square to express his gratitude: "I sincerely appreciate your prayers for my health. May God bless you."
