Pope Francis highlighted the devastating impact of war on innocent lives, particularly children and families, as he reflected on the ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon during his address to people in St. Peter’s Square, on October 30, 2024.
One year after Hamas’ largest terrorist attack on Israeli soil, Pope Francis expressed his solidarity with
the victims of continued violence in the Middle East.
The Vicar of the Custody of the Holy Land asked for prayers on behalf of the millions of innocent people living in the region who are afraid for their lives as well as the lives of their loved ones due to an intensifying conflict on September 2.
