The Church People-Workers Solidarity (CWS), a coalition of church leaders and labor advocates in the Philippines, has renewed its call to uphold labor rights as a critical component of human dignity in observance of International Human Rights Day.
The world observes Human Rights Day on December 10 every year to protect and develop people’s human rights wherever possible. All humans should be treated equally.
I do not understand much about human rights. I have been living under dictatorship for my whole life. I am from Myanmar. People are fighting for human rights globally, but we, the people of Myanmar fighting for survival.
This year’s Human Rights Day theme relates to the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on the need to build back better by ensuring Human Rights are central to recovery efforts.
