Caritas Cambodia organized the 31st Annual Staff retreat under the theme: "Pilgrims of Hope" under the guidance of the three bishops in Cambodia, which took place from 4 to 6 February at Phnom Vor Natural Paradise Resort in Kampot Province, the South of the country.
Caritas members and partners in Southeast Asia attended a workshop in Phnom Penh organized by Caritas Australia. The workshop focused on the "South-East Asia Regional Climate Change Response Framework."
Sophal Phon, a director of St. Paul Institute, said, "the most important purpose of this seminar is to want students and participants to create small projects in researching according to their institutions at the end of the workshop."
"The joy of God and of the poor is our strength and also the joy that is in Caritas is our strength," Bishop Enrique Figuaredo of Battambang and Chairman of the Board of Caritas Cambodia told the members of Caritas Cambodia during the three-day annual retreat.
