Talitha Kum Vietnam deliberates on protection of children from abuse
During the two-day meeting (November 9-10, 2024), the Talitha Kum Vietnam team visited families and children in Lam Dong (Da Lo-Nghet Parish, Bao Loc) to spread the message of proactively nurturing family happiness and protecting children from social pitfalls and the risk of abuse.
The team accompanied local people, families, and especially children—the young ones God entrusted to care for.
Listening to stories and experiences of families and children, the team listened, shared, and learned important knowledge and skills to identify and prevent the risk of abuse.
Inspiring stories and emotional moments have strengthened and affirmed the community's sacred responsibility to ensure the safety and happiness of children.
The team believes that God has given each member the mission to become a protector of young souls.
This journey is a mark of the enthusiasm and enduring faith of each Talitha Kum member in the mission to fight against child trafficking and abuse in Vietnam.
The team thanked priests, nuns, catechists, and benefactors who accompanied and supported Talitha Kum Vietnam, protecting children from social pitfalls.
The team prays to God to bless its members and collaborators, so they have the strength to continue this noble mission.
