The Advent Recollection for Delhi Pastors took place on December 9, 2024, at the Marthoma Centre, New Delhi.

The Advent Recollection for Delhi Pastors was held on December 9, 2024, at the Marthoma Centre, located at 26 Bhai Vir Singh Marg, New Delhi.

The event brought together about 50 pastors from various denominations, offering a reflective and unifying start to the Advent season.

The program began with a prayer song led by Fr. Norbert Herman, SVD, and his team, setting a solemn tone for the gathering.

Rev. Mor John Iraneus from the Believer's Church followed with an opening prayer, invoking blessings for the day's proceedings.

Rev. Daniel Thomas, secretary of the Marthoma Centre, warmly welcomed all the distinguished attendees, fostering an atmosphere of fellowship and inclusivity.

Col. Vanlafela, Territory Manager of The Salvation Army India, Northern Region, delivered a compelling address on the theme, "Jesus, the Prince of Peace."

His message emphasized the enduring relevance of Christ’s peace, particularly in regions like North India and Manipur, which has endured ethnic violence for over a year. He urged the pastors to embrace and embody the peace that Jesus offers, promoting harmony in their communities.

Special prayers for peace and unity were led by Rev. Johnson, creating a poignant moment of intercession for the nation and the world.

The event concluded with blessings from Most Rev. Mar Zacharias Aprem of the Marthoma Church, leaving the participants inspired and spiritually enriched.

The well-coordinated event served as a meaningful reminder of the Advent season's call to peace and reconciliation, resonating deeply with the challenges and hopes of the gathered pastors and their communities.
