The Vatican released the official logos and mottos for the Holy Father’s Apostolic Journey to Asia on September 2 to 13, 2024, which is his longest-ever journey with the motto ‘Faith - Fraternity – Compassion’.
“Starting with the magisterium of Pope Francis and the great changes marking the present era .. theology is confronted with a new challenge, that of addressing the topic of the family in an adequate and renewed manner,” said Paglia.
"The Gift of the Priestly Vocation (Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis)," a foundational document on priestly formation from 2016 will be a key text in the conference.
The Lenten journey “will be concrete if… we realize that even today we remain under the rule of Pharoah. A rule that makes us weary and indifferent. A model of growth that divides us and robs us of our future, said the Pope.
Pope noted that being a journalist is a vocation, something like that of a doctor, “who chooses to love humanity by caring for its illnesses” because they “choose to personally touch the wounds of society and the world”.
“This is my wish for you: to be attentive, in your homes and families, to the little things of everyday life, to small gestures of gratitude," said pope Francis.
"Blessing same-sex couples will be feasible without the need for any form of ritualization or provision of the appearance of matrimony," said Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
“I need you to pray for my health [because] … old age does not come by itself … it does not make itself up, it presents itself as it is,” Francis said.
“Those who work at the Holy See and the Vatican City State certainly do so faithfully and honestly, but the lure of corruption is so dangerous that we must be extremely vigilant,” Pope Francis said.
These are guidelines with a concrete roadmap in which the deepening of synodality from a missionary perspective and the broadening of synodality experiences at the local level are the cornerstones on which the local communities are called to reflect.
